Mayor Corradino Renames City Computer Department to Information Technology Department 

OSWEGO – Mayor Robert A. Corradino has signed Executive Order No. 2026-06, officially renaming the City of Oswego’s Computer Department as the Information Technology Department, effective immediately.

The department has served the City since the 1990s, and the new name better reflects the broad range of critical technology services it provides to support City operations. The change recognizes the evolution of technology and aligns the department’s name with its modern responsibilities. 

The executive order directs that all administrative updates be completed immediately, with any associated costs covered within the department’s existing 2026 operating budget.
