Mexico Instructor Facing Rape Charge

OSWEGO, NY – A veteran instructor in Mexico High School’s Junior ROTC program, was arrested Monday in Oswego.

According to the police report: Daniel Aguilar, 53, of 64 Lake St., Pulaski, was charged at about 11:46 a.m. June 30.

Daniel AguilarHe was charged with first-degree criminal sex act (B Felony), first-degree rape (B Felony), second-degree assault (D Felony) and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.

According to police, on June 27, an adult female victim reported to Oswego Police that she was allegedly sexually assaulted on June 21 during an altercation that took place at her westside residence.

On June 30, Oswego Police arrested Aguilar in connection with the investigation.

He was arraigned and released on $5,000 bail.
