OSWEGO, NY – The City of Oswego Police Department is currently investigating a motor vehicle accident that occurred at approximately 2:12 p.m. on 7/21/2023 at the intersection of W 3rd St and W Albany St.
According to preliminary investigations, the accident involved a privately owned electric scooter and a pickup truck. The pickup truck driver is reported to be uninjured. The operator of the electric scooter is a juvenile who sustained critical injuries and was immediately transported by Menter ambulance to Upstate Hospital for medical treatment.
The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, the Oswego Fire Department and Menter Ambulance assisted on scene. The area around the intersection of W 3rd St and W Albany St has since been re-opened.
