OSWEGO, NY – The next phase of the 2007 Oswego City School District EXCEL capital project is getting under way.
This portion of the project, entitled “Phase 3B,” will include the remainder of the work from the voter approved capital project.

Recently, the Oswego City School District Board of Education approved bids for this portion of the project. A kickoff meeting was conducted and included representatives of the school district as well as construction manager, architect and all participating companies.
The majority of this portion will involve Oswego High School.
David Butts, construction manager with Campus Construction Management, said, “This will include the total renovation of eight student toilet rooms at the Oswego High School, two new ADA toilet rooms adjacent to the main entrance, the renovation and expansion of the toilet rooms across the corridor from the pool, replacement of aging and corroded pipe in the corridor by the Robinson-Faust Theatre, minor renovations in the theater toilet areas and new gym wall pads for the ‘new’ gym at OHS.”
He also noted that additional expansion joints would be included in the area where the 1986 wing meets original construction at Frederick Leighton Elementary School.
