Sunrise Rotary member Tim Nekritz, Michael McLaughlin, Sunrise Rotary member Mike Shea, Kaitlin Bracy, Interact Advisor Warren Shaw, Katie Abramski, Ashley Fidler.

Working together, the team cleared brush, picked up trash, and raked up debris in an effort to make the area more accessible and picturesque.

Interact club advisor Warren Shaw noted that “These kids could be doing anything else on this beautiful day, but they recognize that ‘giving back’ to the community that supports them in their educational efforts is important.”

Continuing he said, “It is very rewarding to work with a group of students that are so appreciative of what their home town has done for them.”

Sunrise Rotary member Don Todd added, “Interactive projects like this are an integral part of the Rotary theme of service above self. I agree that it is a great pleasure to be involved with students that are willing to devote their time and energy to their community.”
