OSWEGO, NY – On Monday, members of the Oswego City Police Department’s Anti-Crime Team (ACT), acting on information developed as a result of on-going drug investigations, arrested two men for sale of a controlled substance and one man for possession of controlled substances with intent to sell.
At approximately 2:45 p.m., 33-year old Wayne R. Dana of 3759 County Route 57, Oswego, was arrested on Ellen Street near West Third Street after being found to have allegedly been operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.
Subsequent to arrest, the suspect was also found to allegedly be in possession of approximately 69 pills of Hydrocodone, a controlled substance.
At approximately 5:52 p.m., 56-year old James E. Pitcher of 814 Kirby Road, Baldwinsville, and 38-year old Jerry B. Pulsifer Jr. of 30 E. Utica St., Oswego, were arrested on East Second Street near Cochran Street after having been found by police to have been in possession of an additional 123 pills of Hydrocodone, police said.
Today (Aug. 16), Dana was arraigned in Oswego City Court on the following charges:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (B Felony)
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd – with Intent to Sell (B Felony)
Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd (Unclassified Misdemeanor)
Resisting Arrest (A Misdemeanor)
Driving with an Obstructed View (Traffic Infraction)
He was subsequently remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 bail / $5,000 bond with a return court date of Aug. 25.
Pitcher was arraigned in Oswego City Court on the following charges:
Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 2nd (A-II Felony)
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd – with Intent to Sell (B Felony)
Conspiracy 2nd (B Felony)
Fail to Stop at a Stop Sign (Traffic Infraction)
He was subsequently remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility with no bail and was given a return court date of Aug. 30.
Pulsifer Jr. was arraigned in Oswego City Court on the following charges:
Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 2nd (A-II Felony)
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd – with Intent to Sell (B Felony)
Conspiracy 2nd (B Felony)
He was subsequently remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility with no bail and was given a return court date of Aug. 30.
