Oswego Car Crash Results From Failure To Stop At Stop Sign

OSWEGO – Yesterday, June 12, at approximately 12:26 p.m. the Oswego City Police Department responded to a reported motor vehicle crash at the corner of Church Street at East Sixth Street.

Upon arrival, officers observed a green colored 2002 Ford Focus was on its side after being struck by a gray colored 2008 Chrysler Sebring. 

Upon investigation at the scene, officers determined that the operator of the Ford Focus failed to stop at the stop sign while traveling Northbound on East Sixth Street. As a result of not stopping, the Ford Focus was struck by the Chrysler Sebring as it traveled Westbound on Church Street.

There were no reported injuries. Officers were assisted on scene by the Oswego City Fire Department and Menter’s Ambulance.
