OSWEGO – March 19th marks a special occasion for many in our community as we celebrate St. Joseph’s Day, a time-honored tradition recognizing kindness, generosity, and hard work—values that strengthen our city every day.
Mayor Corradino continues the longstanding tradition of raising the Italian flag in honor of St. Joseph’s Day, a practice he upheld while serving on the Common Council and now proudly continues as Mayor.
“Today, we celebrate the spirit of hard work, compassion, and community that makes Oswego such a wonderful place to live,” said Mayor Corradino. “St. Joseph’s Day is a reminder of the values that unite us and the rich Italian heritage that is woven into the fabric of our city.”
We encourage residents to take a moment to reflect on the contributions of Italian Americans in Oswego and beyond, and to embody the generosity and dedication that this day represents.
