On January 2, State Police in Pulaski arrested 36-year-old Kenneth L. Sweeting as result of an investigation into a domestic dispute that occurred at his residence 390 Mellon Road in the town of Amboy.

Sweeting was charged with the following:
•Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd – Felony
•Strangulation 3rd – Felony
•Criminal Mischief 4th – Misdemeanor
•Menacing 3rd – Misdemeanor
•Endangering the Welfare of a Child – Misdemeanor
•Attempted Assault 3rd – Misdemeanor
He was arraigned in the Town of West Monroe Court before the Honorable Judge Sullivan and remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $20,000 / $40,000 bail/bond.
During the above investigation information was obtained, a search warrant was subsequently executed by State Police members from the Hastings and Pulaski station at 390 Mellon Road in the town of Amboy and the components of a Clandestine Meth Lab were allegedly discovered within the residence and on the property.
On January 6, Sweeting was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd (an A-II Felony) and Unlawful Manufacturing Meth 3rd (D-Felony).
Sweeting was arraigned in Oswego County Court by Honorable Judge Todd and ordered held without bail pending further court action.
