OSWEGO, NY – The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce Oswego Farmers’ Market, celebrating more than 50 years as Oswego’s community block party, continues June 12 from 5-9 p.m. on West First Street, between Bridge and Oneida streets.

This week a live performance by the Oswego High School Jazz Band will add an exciting feel to the market.

This year’s market hosts more than 50 vendors offering a great selection of fresh produce, homemade baked goods and delicacies, honey, maple syrup, and plenty of arts and crafts along with other crowd favorites such as fresh squeezed lemonade, fried dough, Italian sausages and more.

New items at this week’s market include: fresh and dried herbs, Amish cheese, handmade soaps, handcrafted wooden baskets and bowls, an old fashioned soda wagon and more.

Market goers will also have the opportunity to help grow the Central New York Great Pumpkin Festival by purchasing 50 / 50 raffle tickets.

Tickets will be available at the chamber booth each week of the market.

The winning ticket will be drawn during the pumpkin festival at 3 p.m. on Oct. 5 in Washington Square Park.

You need not be present to win.

While the farmers’ market is fun for the whole family, the chamber would like to remind everyone that for the safety of the pet, as well as the general public, animals are prohibited from the market.

The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce and the city of Oswego sponsor the market.
