OSWEGO -An Oswego man is in jail, charged with rape, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
At about 7:44 p.m. Tuesday (May 5), Daniel J. Fleischman, 42, of 24 Birch Lane, Bldg. 2, Apt. B, Oswego, was arrested for first-degree rape, a class B felony, following an incident in the town of Scriba.
He allegedly ripped off the victim’s pants and forced the victim to engage in intercourse.
Fleischman was arraigned by Hon. Judge Adkins in the Town of Scriba Court and remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond.
He is to return to court on May 14.
