An Oswego man was arrested Thursday on charges he raped a child in Washington State 10 years ago.
Jeffrey B. Knudtson, 40, of 20 Birch Lane, Apt. A, Oswego was picked up by Oswego County Sheriff’s Deputies at about 1:00 pm Thursday.
Police had received a warrant from the Pierce County, Washington Sheriff’s Office alleging Knudtson was a fugitive from justice.
He’s accused of having had sex with a child who was six years old at the time in the Puyallup, Washington area in 1999.
Knudtson faced a local judge and was sent to jail without bail. He was scheduled for an appearance in Oswego County Court this morning.
