OSWEGO, NY – On Tuesday the Oswego City Police Department’s Anti-Crime Team (ACT), with the assistance of the Patrol Division furthered the ongoing investigations in to the sales and possession of illegal drugs within the city of Oswego.
At approximately 9:54 p.m. a 2009 Pontiac G6, being operated by Ryan M. Hilton, 27, of 28 Kennedy Drive, Oswego, was stopped in the area of Bunner and Maple streets.

Hilton was subsequently found to allegedly be in possession of a small amount of marihuana as well as 44 individually wrapped bags of heroin.
Hilton was arrested and charged with the following:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rdh degree, intent to sell – Class B Felony
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th degree- Class C Felony
Unlawful Possession of Marihuana- Violation
Hilton was arraigned in Oswego City Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 secured bail bond.
He is due to reappear in Oswego City Court on Dec. 4 at 9:30 a.m.
