OSWEGO, NY – On Thursday, at approximately 3:10 p.m., members of the Oswego City Police Department’s Anti-Crime Team executed a narcotics related search warrant at 40 Liberty St. in the city of Oswego.

As a result of the search, investigators seized 100 illegally possessed narcotic prescription pills that were allegedly possessed with the intent to sell.
The following person was arrested and criminally charged as a result of the investigation:
Justin D. Sova, 26, of 40 Liberty St., Oswego NY – Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree – with intent to sell, Class B Felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree – more than ½ ounce of a narcotic drug, Class B Felony.
Sova was arraigned in Oswego City Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bail bond.
He is to return to Oswego City Court on June 10 at 9:30 a.m.
