
OSWEGO, NY – On Aug. 20, at about 3:10 a.m., Oswego Police were dispatched to a burglary in progress at a West Cayuga Street residence.
During the police response, additional information provided by the resident indicated that the suspects had left the residence and were leaving the scene in a vehicle.

The resident was able to provide police with a vehicle description, and moments later, police had the vehicle stopped a few blocks away from the burglary scene.
Inside the vehicle, police identified four male suspects and located a laptop computer, which had reportedly been stolen from the West Cayuga Street residence.
Police subsequently arrested:
- 21-year-old John J. Frank of 7452 State Route 104 Oswego. He was charged with: Burglary 2nd Degree (C-Felony), Grand Larceny 3rd Degree (D-Felony), and Conspiracy 4th Degree (E-Felony)
- 22-year-old Brandon J. Miller of 76 Harvest Drive Oswego. He was charged with: Burglary 2nd Degree (C-Felony), Grand Larceny 3rd Degree (D-Felony), and Conspiracy 4th Degree (E-Felony)

Brandon J. Miller 18-year-old Daniel T. Tyo of 315 E. Second St., Oswego. He was charged with: Grand Larceny 3rd Degree (D-Felony)
- 19-year-old David A. Abare of 8 Greenvale Lane Oswego. He was charged with: Grand Larceny 3rd Degree (D-Felony)
The four suspects were later arraigned on the above charges in Scriba Town Court.
Upon arraignment, the suspects were remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility as follows:

Frank – in lieu of $5,000 bail / $10,000 bond
Miller – in lieu of $5,000 bail / $10,000 bond
Tyo – in lieu of $1,000 bail / $1,000 bond
Abare – in lieu of $1,000 bail / $1,000 bond
Each of the defendants was given a court date returnable to Oswego City Court on Aug. 24.
