Oswego Police Announce Felony Drug Arrests

OSWEGO, NY – On Tuesday, the Oswego City Police Department’s Anti-Crime Team (ACT) concluded an investigation into the alleged possession and sales of cocaine occurring within and around the city of Oswego.

Assisting with the investigation were the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, the SUNY Oswego Police Department and the U.S. Border Patrol.

Wire taps were utilized as part of the investigation that began in 2012.

As a result of the investigation approximately 45 grams of cocaine was seized.

Arrested and charged as a result of this investigation were the following:

 

David E. Cruz
David E. Cruz

David E. Cruz, 25 years of age, of 88 Maiden Lane Road Apartment 11, Oswego. He was arrested and charged with the following:

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, with intent to sell- Class B Felony
Conspiracy in the 4th degree- Class E Felony

Cruz was arraigned in Oswego City Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash / $2,000 secured bail bond.

He is due back in court on January 7 at 9:30 a.m.

Jose Lebron-Figuera

Daniel Feliciano, 38 years of age, of 144 Paddy Lake Rod Oswego. He was arrested and charged with the following:

Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree- Class B Felony
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, with intent to sell- Class B Felony
Conspiracy in the 4th degree- Class E Felony

Feliciano was arraigned in Oswego City Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail / $2,000 secured bail bond.

He is due back in court on January 7 at 9:30 a.m.

Jose L. Lebron-Figuera, 34 years of age, of 157 E. Eighth St., Oswego. He was arrested and charged with the following:

Miguel A. Soto-Cruz

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, with intent to sell- Class B Felony (2 Counts)
Conspiracy in the 4th degree- Class E Felony

At the time of his arrest, on Tuesday, Lebron-Figuera was found to allegedly be in possession of one bag of crack cocaine, with the alleged intent to sell such.

As a result he was further charged with an additional count of:

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, with intent to sell- Class B Felony

Lebron-Figuera was arraigned in Oswego City Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail / $20,000 secured bail bond.

He is due back in court on January 7 at 9:30 a.m.

Miguel A. Soto-Cruz, 33 years of age, of 53 E. Seventh St. Lower Apartment, Oswego. He was arrested and charged with the following:

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, with intent to sell- Class B Felony (2 Counts)
Conspiracy in the 4th degree- Class E Felony

At the time of his arrest, on Tuesday, Soto-Cruz was found to allegedly be in possession of approximately 13.9 grams of cocaine and 6 grams of crack cocaine.

He was further found to be in possession of $12,821 in US currency that is alleged to be proceeds of illegal conduct.

As a result he was additionally charged with the following:

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, with intent to sell- Class B Felony
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree- Class B Felony

Soto-Cruz is being held at the Oswego Police Department pending arraignment, police said Tuesday night.

It is alleged that the four defendants conspired to act together to possess and sell cocaine within and around the city of Oswego.

As part of a separate investigation by the Oswego City Police Departments Anti-Crime Team, the following person was arrested and charged on Tuesday:

Angela M. Lopez, 45 years of age, of 987 County Route 53, Oswego. She was charged with the following:

Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree- Class B Felony
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, with intent to sell- Class B Felony
Unlawful Possession of Marihuana- Violation

It is alleged that Lopez did sell one bag of crack cocaine within the city of Oswego and was further found to allegedly be in possession of 3 additional bags of crack cocaine and a small amount of marihuana.

Lopez was arraigned in Oswego City Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secured bail bond.

She has a return court date of January 7 at 9:30 a.m.
