Oswego Police Charge Fulton Woman With Felony Drug Possession

OSWEGO – On Sunday at approximately 4:09 p.m. members of the Oswego City Police Department arrested Ciara L. Martin, 26, of 1812 County Route 45 Fulton.

Martin was found to be in knowing and unlawful possession of 240 Oxycodone tablets having a total weight of 4.445 ounces, police said.

Oxycodone is a Schedule II Narcotic drug as so identified in the NYS Public Health Law.

Martin was charged with one count of the following:

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance second degree, class AII felony.

Martin was arraigned by the Honorable P. Michael Shanley, Oswego City Court Judge and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility with no bail.

Martin was scheduled to reappear in Oswego City Court today (July 31).

This investigation remains active and further charges and/or arrests are possible.
