Oswego Police Department Responded To A Domestic Assault Complaint At A Westside Residence

OSWEGO – On August 23, 2024, at about 10:45PM, the Oswego Police Department responded to a domestic assault complaint at a Westside residence. It was reported to police that a juvenile had just stabbed an adult in the residence. Upon arrival, officers observed an adult male that had sustained injuries consistent with stab wounds. The male was treated on scene by Menter’s ambulance and the Oswego Fire Department and was transported by ambulance to the Oswego Hospital for his injuries. The male was later transported via helicopter to Upstate Hospital. The male is currently being listed in good condition.

This is being investigated as an isolated incident with no danger to the public. Due to the age of the juvenile involved, no further information is currently being released. The Oswego Police Department is investigating the incident in conjunction with the Oswego County Attorney’s Office.
