Oswego Police Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Fulton Man

OSWEGO, NY – On March 30, at about 1 p.m., members of the Oswego Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division continued its investigation into the illegal transportation and sales of prescription medication from the state of Florida to the city of Oswego and surrounding areas.

This investigation led Oswego City Police investigators to 143 Weller Road, Fulton.

As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at the Weller Road residence.

In the course of the search warrant execution, more than 650 pills (prescription medication including: Oxycodone, Hydrocodone and Methadone) were discovered and seized.

Additionally, more than $2,000 in US Currency was seized, as well as various paraphernalia that is commonly used in the transportation and distribution of controlled substances.

Richard D. Timian Jr., 42, of 143 Weller Road, Fulton, was arrested and charged with the following:

1 count attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance 2nd (A-II felony)

1 count attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd (C felony)

1 count attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance 4th (D felony)

3 counts attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th (E felony)

Timian was arraigned today (March 31) before the Town of Volney Court Judge and was remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 cash / $100,000 bail bond.

He is to return to court on April 11.

Oswego Police investigators anticipate additional arrests in regard to the ongoing investigations into illegal drug activity.
