Oswego Police Motor Vehicle Accident With A Pedestrian

On October 9, 2026, at approximately 3:05 PM, the Oswego Police Department responded to a reported motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian at the intersection of East Bridge Street and East First Street. Upon arrival, officers located a male who had been riding an electric skateboard and had been struck by a motor vehicle. Officers and members of the Oswego Fire Department provided aid to the injured male, who was subsequently transported to Upstate University Hospital for treatment. The Oswego Police Department conducted an on-scene investigation, which required the intersection to be closed for approximately one hour. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.

The Oswego Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Oswego Fire Department, Menter Ambulance, the Oswego County Sheriff’s Department, Oswego DPW and the Oswego County District Attorney’s Office.
