Oswego Police Probe Early Morning Robbery

OSWEGO, NY – At approximately 5:38 a.m. today (Jan. 10), Oswego City Police responded to a report of a robbery in the area of West Fifth and Mohawk streets.

The victim reported that an undisclosed amount of money was forcibly stolen from him.

The suspect, who fled the scene, was described as a white male approximately 6 feet tall, 220 pounds and approximately 20 – 35 years old.

He was wearing a Carhart jacket, tan military style boots, black gloves and a black scarf covering his face.

The victim suffered minor injuries, but refused medical treatment at the scene.
