OSWEGO, NY – The 2010-2011 budget will be a major topic of the Oswego City School District Board of Education during the next four months.
The board and administration had some preliminary discussions at the most recent regular meeting.
However, on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., the Oswego City School District Board of Education, Superintendent of Schools Bill Crist and the Central Office administration will meet for a special budget workshop.
The desire of the board during the most recent meeting was to conduct a special workshop where only the budget would be the focus of attention.
This will be the second budget workshop. On Dec. 8, the board met with the district financial advisor for a session to address the budgetary process and responsibilities.
Tuesday’s meting will be held in the Education Center Board Room, 120 E. First St.
