OSWEGO, NY – In a brief reorganizational meeting Tuesday evening, the Oswego school board appointed a new slate of officers for the 2011-2012 school year.
John Dunsmoor, the board’s vice president for the 2010-2011 academic year, was appointed president.
Kathleen Allen was named to fill Dunsmoor’s previous spot.
Both votes were unanimous.
Board member Fran Hoefer was absent.
Prior to the meeting, Dunsmoor and Sam Tripp took the oath of office along with Bill Myer.
Dunsmoor and Tripp were re-elected to new terms this past May. Myer is entering his first term on the board.
The new board then acted on various housekeeping items for the upcoming school year among which were appointments of:

Clerk of the Board of Education and School District Clerk – William Foley
District Treasurer – John Edwards
Deputy District Treasurer – Joyce Galletta
Health Insurance Consultant Services – Benefit Consulting Group
Internal Auditor – Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPA’s, LLC
Reserve Internal Claims Auditor – Michael Riley
Records Retention and Disposition Officer – William Foley
Records Access Officer – William Foley
School District Purchasing Agent – John Edwards
Tax Collector – Joyce Galletta
Official Bank Depositories – J. P. Morgan Chase Manhattan Bank, Key Bank, Citizens Bank, HSBC and Alliance Bank.
