Oswego Woman Accused of Stealing from National Grid

Mary Ann Hart’s 25 year career at National Grid is ending after her arrest on charges of stealing from the company.

Hart is accused of using a company-issued credit card to make as much as $100,000 in personal purchases over a two year period.

Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick said in a news release that some of the items were delivered to her home and some to her desk at National Grid.

He said some of the items purchased were also found at Hart’s lakefront cabin in Cayuga County.

She’s been charged with grand larceny and falsifying business records.

Syracuse City Court Judge Kate Rosenthal released Hart to the pre-trial release program over the objections of the District Attorney’s office, which wanted bail set at $100,000. missing or outdated ad config
