OSWEGO – On Thursday (March 15) at 12:33 p.m., Brad T. McAuslan, 33, of 19 Lacasse Road, Parish, was arrested for first-degree endangering the welfare of a incompetent or physically disable person, a class E felony.

The arrest stems from an investigation conducted by the New York State Justice Center when McAuslan allegedly left the victim who has been deemed physically disabled, unattended in a transport van, secured in place with no way to exit the vehicle in case of emergency while McAuslan entered a business in the city of Fulton and consumed an alcoholic beverage in the men’s room on June 8, 2017.
McAuslan is scheduled to answer the charge on 3/22/18 in the City of Fulton Court.
At the same time, McAuslan was arrested for three counts of petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor following the investigation into incidents that occurred between 6/26/17 and 7/2/17 at a business in the town of Mexico where he allegedly stole consumable goods.
He is scheduled to answer the charge on 3/20/18 in the Town of Mexico Court.
