A Pulaski man is charged with blindfolding a young girl and subjecting her to sexual contact.
Sheriff’s Deputies on Friday arrested Walter C. Belden, 28, of 3839 Port St., Pulaski. He is charged with first degree rape, first degree criminal sexual act, sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. All but the endangering charge are felonies.
Police allege that in August, September and October of this year at a home in Pulaski, Belden blindfolded the girl, who is unnamed but under 11 years old and then engaged in sexual intercourse and oral sex.
Volney town justice Ptricia Kerfein sent Belden to jail on bail of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
He’s due in Pulaski village court on August 14.
