OSWEGO COUNTY, NY – Police expect to arrest several people in connection with an investigation into marijuana growing operations in both Oswego and southern Jefferson counties.
Friday, the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team conducted a marijuana eradication, utilizing helicopter fly-overs in the two county area. The efforts were made in conjunction with the Oswego Police Department and U.S. Border Patrol.
The eradication originated from anonymous tips that were given to the New York State Police and Oswego Police Department. Police said a total of six locations were checked, resulting in the seizure of 80 marijuana plants.
All investigations are continuing and several arrests are pending.
