Police Seize $200K Worth Of Marijuana Plants

UPDATE: The Sheriff’s Department said in response to our questions that the plants were found in the towns of Hannibal, Oswego and Scriba between September 7 and September 11.  No arrests have been made yet but the investigation is continuing.  We hear photos may be coming and we’ll show them to you when they arrive.

The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, along with members of the US Border Patrol, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Fulton Police Department, and the Oswego Police Department, seized over 300 marijuana plants in a joint eradication effort. Investigators, acting on tips from the Oswego County Drug Tip Line and the US Border Patrol helicopter, seized the plants from both indoor and outdoor locations. The street value of the drugs is estimated to be in excess of $200,000. The investigation continues.
