Pulaski Men Arrested After Golf-Related Thefts

Golf is causing more problems than usual for two Pulaski men.

The Sheriff’s Department alleges that Nicholas A. Peschler, 20, of 24 River View Road, Pulaski and Tyler S. Smith, 19, of 14 South Rainbow Shores, Pulaski stole approximately 30 sprinkler heads from The Elms golf course in Sandy Creek on August 18 or 19.  Each was charged with a felony count of grand larceny.

Peschler was also charged with two felony counts of grand larceny for allegedly stealing golf carts from camper sites at Brennan’s Beach RV Park in Richland.  One theft occured on August 3.  The date of the other was not disclosed.

Peschler was arrested last Thursday.  He was sent to jail on bail of $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond on each of the three charges against him.  He has court dates on the charges set for September 23, October 26 and November 5.

Smith was arrested last Friday.  Bail was set at $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond.  He returns to court November 5. missing or outdated ad config
