STERLING, NY – Empire Attractions is pleased to announce that the Sterling Renaissance Festival will indeed open as scheduled on July 5.
After a challenging couple of weeks, Empire Attractions was able to generate funds needed to get the beloved festival open in part due to the thoughtful contributions from its loyal fans who donated to the Rockethub.com crowd funding site.
Contributions to the site totaled $15,000.
Though short of the original goal, the effort generated overwhelming community support helping to build broad awareness and to help secure enough conventional financing to open the gates for the 2014 season, allowing the fundraising campaign to finish early.
The festival’s owners and participants wish to express their heart-felt gratitude to all the friends of the faire.
The opening weekend of the Sterling Renaissance Festival is “Family and Friends weekend.”
All visitors will benefit from a fantastic ticket special buy one regular priced adult ticket and get either one adult ticket at half price or one free child’s ticket (ages 5-12).

The Sterling Renaissance Festival operates Saturdays and Sundays through July and the first three weekends of August.
