OSWEGO, NY – Spider-Man was in town Thursday evening at the annual Oswego Farmers’ Market to take part in the children’s Halloween parade.
Children in costume, 12 and under, received a free goodie bag of Halloween treats.
The market’s official wizard paraded the costumed youngsters around the market and back to the grandstand to receive their goodies.
Musical entertainment for the evening was provided by The Billionaires.
Flowers By Mr. John is sponsoring the Children’s Parade and entertainment.
This year’s market hosts more than 50 vendors offering a great selection of fresh produce, homemade baked goods and other crowd favorites.
There is just one more chance to check out the market this season. Things will wrap up for 2009 on Oct. 8.
The final market for 2009 will take place 5 – 9 p.m. on West First Street in downtown Oswego.
