Oswego County Buildings Will Shine Green

OSWEGO – In Honor of Oswego County Veterans, the Oswego County Legislature has decided once again to participate in the Statewide event; Operation Green Light. Starting November 1, 2024, through November 30, 2024, County Government Buildings will shine green lights of hope in support of our veterans. 

James Weatherup, Chairman of the Oswego County Legislature said, “This event is something we participate in every year, with the goal of letting all veterans throughout Oswego County know that they are seen, appreciated and fully supported”. 

The Oswego County Legislative Office Building, Fulton Office Building, both the Pulaski and Oswego Courthouse and the Oswego DMV with all be lit green for the entire month of November in support of Operation Green Light. 

“Operation Green Light is an entire community event, and I invite all Oswego County residents to display a visible indoor or outdoor green light to support our veterans”, said Chairman Weatherup.
