State Police Arrest Father and Son For A Bias-Related Crime

State Police arrested Michael P. Sellin, 53, and Kory M. Sellin, 25, from Cleveland, for Assault in the second degree, a class “C” felony.

The arrest stems from an investigation on February 16 into the 39-year-old male victim found unconscious in a parking lot of a restaurant and bar located on State Route 49 in the town of Constantia, state police reported today (March 2).

The victim stated he was assaulted as he was walking towards the entrance of the restaurant along with his girlfriend.

Witnesses stated the victim and his girlfriend had just left another bar on State Route 49 after a verbal altercation with the suspects who were heard making racial slurs towards the victim.

On February 19, Michael and Kory Sellin were subsequently arrested for Assault in the second degree/Hate Crime and arraigned in the Town of Constantia Court and held in lieu of $10,000 cash/$20,000 bond at the Oswego County Jail.

Both suspects are scheduled to appear back in court on April 25, at 5 p.m.
