Traffic Alert – Street Closure Planned For Demolition Work Friday

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego City Police Department wishes to alert motorists to a traffic change planned for tomorrow (Aug. 13).

Due to the planned demolition of the building located at 133 W. Fifth St., the Traffic Section of the Oswego Police Department will be closing West Fifth Street from West Oneida Street to West Bridge Street for all vehicular traffic.

The demolition is planned to begin around 7 a.m. and the street will be closed from that time until completion, which is expected to be about noon.

Once the area has been deemed safe, regular traffic flow will resume.

Additionally during this time, work vehicles and equipment will most likely be staged in the parking lane on West Bridge Street at the site, limiting eastbound traffic on West Bridge Street to only one lane.

The Oswego City Police Department wishes to remind motorists to drive with caution in this area during the times of demolition. missing or outdated ad config
