Traffic Alert: Change Over Starts On Utica Street Bridge

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego City Police Department wishes to alert citizens that the NYS Department of Transportation will be continuing its work on the Utica Street Bridge.

Beginning today (Aug. 9), crews will be making the change over, opening the north side of the bridge and closing the south side of the bridge.

This change will most likely take all day to complete.

As has been the case, the Utica Street Bridge will remain open during the project with one lane available for traffic in each direction.

According to Police Chief Michael J. Dehm Jr., “We ask that motorists be patient as the work continues. Traffic patterns around the construction project may change with little or no notice.”
