SYRACUSE – State Police arrested passengers Tiffany L. Rothrock, 33, from 52 Kingdom Road, Oswego, and Edward J. Baker Jr., 38, from 122 Dickerson St., Syracuse, on several drug possession charges following traffic stop.

On Thursday (May 11), State Police stopped a vehicle on Butternut Street in the city of Syracuse for a traffic violation.
Investigation at the scene revealed that passengers Rothrock and Baker Jr. were allegedly in possession of heroin, cocaine, marijuana and several hypodermic needles.
The operator was ticketed and released at the scene for the failure to signal when turning, as well as for Unlicensed Operation, and for having an open container of alcohol within the vehicle.
Rothrock was charged at SP North Syracuse for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th degree, a class “D” felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, and Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument, both class “A” misdemeanors, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation, and the traffic infractions of Permitting Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Consumption of an Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle.

Baker was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, and Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument, both class “A” misdemeanors.
Both were transported to the Onondaga County Justice Center pending arraignment today (May 12).
