
OSWEGO, NY – At about noon February 27, the Oswego City Police Department’s Anti -Crime Team (ACT), with the assistance of the Special Response Team (SRT), executed narcotics related search warrants at two residences within the city of Oswego.
One was at 205 W. Seneca St. and the other 148 W. Bridge St.

As a result of those search warrant executions a total of approximately 100 grams of cocaine, having a street value of $8,000 was seized.
Additionally seized was a small amount of marihuana.
Two residents of 205 W. Seneca St. were arrested and charged as follows:
Pedro J. Velazquez, 33, is charged with:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, with intent to sell- Class B Felony and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree- Class B Felony.
Darin M. Silvia, 19, was charged with:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree with intent to sell – Class B Felony and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree- Class D Felony.
Velazquez and Silvia are both being held at the Oswego City Police Department pending arraignment in Oswego City Court.
