PARISH – On April 8, at approximately 8 p.m., State Police responded to a residence in Parish for a report of an assault.

The victim reported that his employees William J. Presley Jr., 37, and Matthew M. Presley, 34, of Bangall Road, Parish, had come to pick up their paychecks, and then attacked him following a denial of their request for a pay raise, according to police.
The victim was transported to Oswego Hospital for treatment of a fractured leg and torn knee ligaments.

William J. Presley Jr. was charged on April 10, with Assault in the 3rd Degree, a class “A” misdemeanor.
Matthew M. Presley was charged on April 19, with Assault in the 3rd Degree, and Harassment in the 2nd Degree, a violation.
Both are scheduled to appear in the Town of Parish Court on April 26.
