Union, CENG Reach Tentative Pact

SCRIBA, NY – Representatives of Constellation Energy Nuclear Group and IBEW Local 97 have reportedly reached an agreement that could put an end to the strike at the Scriba nuclear power plants.

The deal was announced earlier today in a brief press release.

The ratification vote will take place on Monday, July 25 and Tuesday, July 26, according to Constellation spokesperson Jill Lyon.

The two sides reached a deal with the help of a federal mediator, she said.

Local 97 went on strike at 12:01 a.m. July 9 at the Nine Mile Point nuclear plants owned by CENG.

Union leaders will advise the members to approve the new pact. missing or outdated ad config
