OSWEGO, NY- After a short hiatus, Oswego Music Hall of Fame is back to celebrate local Oswego County talent. This year’s Induction ceremony and fundraiser will be hosted at one of Oswego’s premiere music venues: Canale’s Restaurant, 156 West Utica Street, Oswego NY.
The Oswego Music Hall of Fame, Inc., Induction ceremony & fundraiser will be held on October 15, and the doors will open at 12:00 p.m. The 2023 Induction ceremony will be celebrating numerous Oswego musicians with a sit-down dinner of chicken parmigiana served at 2:00 p.m.
The event is packed full of amazing Oswego County talent including, Bill “Fuzzy” Wiltsie receiving the Joseph P. Spereno Hall of Fame Award with a performance by LTC/ King Chro Project. John McConnell is receiving this year’s Joseph P. Spereno Hall of Fame Award with a performance by John McConnell. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Entertainment Award is being presented to F5/ Don Beshures with a performance by F5.
The Vocalist Entertainment Award is being presented to Ruth Germain and Sound Technician Award is being presented to Josh Russell. Jim Eckert is being awarded this year’s Educator Award with performance by In the Flesh! – A Pink Floyd Tribute. The 2023 Joseph P. Spereno Scholarship Winners, Sarah Westcott and Anna Cloonan will also perform at the event.
The entire event will be emceed by Nick and Nick Canale. There will be several raffles to participate in during the event including a 50/50 raffle, a diamond earring raffle donated by JP Jewelers, and a keepsake guitar raffle.
