OSWEGO – On Thursday (November 15) at 9:35 a.m., deputies charged Melissa J. Webster, 36, of 280 Cherry St., Apt. 1, Oswego, with Welfare Fraud, 3rd degree and Grand Larceny, 3rd degree, both class D felonies.
The arrest stems from an investigation conducted by the Oswego County Department of Social Services with her allegedly receiving services from July 1, 2012 until November 30, 2013 due to not reporting incomes received.
She was arraigned in the Town of Parish Court and is scheduled to return to the Town of Mexico Court on November 20.
