UPDATE
0n Monday (June 30), members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office responded to
an industrial accident resulting in the death of a worker.
The accident occurred at Novelìs Corporation, located at 448 County Route 1A, in the town of Scriba.
The victim was 31-year-old Steven Cooper, of Phoenix, NY.
Members of Novelis Corporation, town of Scriba Volunteer Fire Depaartment, Oswego
County Fire Coordinator’s Office and Menter’s Ambulance assisted at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
