Youth Forum Set For November 4

OSWEGO, NY – Interested in learning more about the services and programs available to youth in Oswego County?  If so, you won’t want to miss the Oswego County Youth Forum to be held November 4 at the McCrobie Building, 41 Lake St.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the program starting promptly at 9 a.m.

Representatives from more than two dozen agencies and organizations will be on hand to share information on the youth programs they offer, how to access them, and the ways in which these programs can benefit and enrich the lives of youth throughout Oswego County.

The new location for this year’s Youth Forum and the inclusive format provides attendees the opportunity to learn more about each program through in-depth presentations by program representatives.

“Youth are our most precious resource,” said Executive Director of the United Way of Greater Oswego County Patrick Dewine. “They are the future leaders and decision makers for our communities. Oswego County hosts many programs and services that are vital to the physical and emotional development of our youth. I’m proud United Way will be a part of this event. The Youth Forum is a perfect complement to our mission of ending hunger, helping children and youth succeed, and improving the health and well-being of families and individuals.”

“The Oswego County Youth Program Forum is open to the public and provides community members with a rare opportunity to come together to learn first-hand about the programs and services available to aid youth and families in Oswego County.
