Phoenix Man Arrested On Burglary, Menacing Charges

OSWEGO COUNTY – State Police in Fulton arrested Franklin D. Hill, age 37 from Phoenix, New York, for (1) count of Burglary 2nd degree, a class “C” felony and (2) counts of Menacing 2nd degree, a class “A” misdemeanor.

On April 24, 2020, at approximately 8:20 p.m., State Police responded to a reported burglary in progress at 24 W. Eleventh Street Apt. D7 in the town of Granby.

Following an investigation, Hill was arrested for forcing his way into the apartment through a locked rear door, into an upstairs bedroom, and threatening a male and female victim with a pellet handgun. Hill reportedly then ran out the back door as Troopers arrived on the scene. He was subsequently taken into custody without incident.

Hill was processed at SP Fulton and transported to the Oswego County Jail for Centralized Court Arraignment.

State Police were assisted at the scene by the City of Fulton Police Department and the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office.
