Frontier Outage in Pulaski Area

PULASKI – The Oswego County E-911 Communications Center has learned that Frontier customers in the Pulaski area are experiencing an outage of landline telephones.

Oswego County E-911 Communications Director Kevin Pooley said the center learned the outage began this afternoon, May 28, and is reaching out to public safety agencies in the area.

People affected by the outage should use a cell phone to call ‘911’ if an emergency occurs.

Anyone who cannot reach 911 on their landline telephones should try a cellular service; ask a friend, relative or neighbor; or go to the local fire station or ambulance corps for assistance. If the SOS function on their cell phones is available, people will be able to reach 911 from their cell phones.
