Oswego County DSS Reports Issues with Telephone Service

MEXICO – The Oswego County Department of Social Services (DSS) is currently experiencing technical difficulties with its telephone service.

Callers may experience issues connecting to the specific department they are trying to reach or find themselves in a loop where the menu system or EVA, the system’s AI assistant, repeats itself.

The agency asks clients for their patience as they work to resume normal phone operations. Residents in need of immediate assistance can call ‘2-1-1’ to be connected to services.

DSS will provide an update once these issues are resolved.
