Syracuse Man Arrested After Allegedly Kidnapping Pennellville Man

PENNELLVILLE, NY – Today, Thursday, July 14, 2022, State Police arrested Neil W. Ashley, age 40 from Syracuse, New York, for Kidnapping 2nd degree, a class “B” felony.

Ashley is accused of showing up at the 31-year-old male victim’s residence in Pennellville, New York, and physically forcing him out of his house, and into a vehicle.

According to police, the victim then jumped out of the vehicle, from the back seat of the vehicle, as it was traveling on County Route 10. The victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital where he was treated for a fractured skull and a foot injury and released.

Ashley was transported to Oswego County Jail to await centralized arraignment. missing or outdated ad config
