Tim Allers Officially Wins Democratic Primary for 120th Assembly District

OSWEGO COUNTY — Tim Allers is officially the Democratic nominee for the 120th Assembly District after Boards of Elections in Oswego, Cayuga, and Jefferson counties certified the final primary results.

“What an experience this race has been so far,” said Allers. “Waiting for the final count has been an exercise in patience, but making sure every vote is counted is exactly how free and fair elections are supposed to work. I want to thank the Board of Elections staff in Oswego, Cayuga, and Jefferson counties for their dedication and professionalism.”

Allers thanked his supporters, volunteers, and campaign team for helping deliver the win.

“We could not have pulled this off without every single person who supported this campaign,” Allers said. “I could not be more proud of the work our team has done to listen to people, engage with voters, and meet folks where they are.”

Allers also thanked Jim Cannon for entering the race and said his campaign will now focus on building a broader coalition for November.

“We look forward to earning the support of voters who did not vote for us and continuing to build this coalition by listening to people across this district and making sure they are heard,” Allers said.

Allers said his general election campaign will focus on creating good-paying jobs, lowering costs, and making sure families can build their future in Oswego County and across the 120th Assembly District.

“I am honored to be the Democratic nominee for the 120th Assembly District,” Allers said. “Now, let’s get to work.”
