Local business, Wood-Mizer Northeast, will be assisting the town’s efforts by supplying trash bags and trucks to pick up trash. “We are delighted to help our neighbors and community by assisting with the town’s roadside cleanup” said Jack Beckwith, Jr. of Wood-Mizer. “Many of our customers travel from hundreds of miles away to our business in Hannibal, and they often comment on how nice our town is. We are proud to call Hannibal our home,” Beckwith said.

Oswego County Soil & Water has partnered with the Town’s efforts by donating gloves for cleanup volunteers.

Volunteers are asked to meet at the Hannibal Municipal Building at 824 County Route 34 at 8:45 a.m. to obtain bags and safety gear, and to discuss cleanup routes. “If this event doesn’t fit your schedule, please consider doing your part to clean up the roads around your neighborhood when you can” Calkins said.
