Two Men Found on Oneida Lake

OSWEGO COUNTY – On Wednesday, July 16th, 2025, at around 1:32 PM, an off-duty Oswego County Sheriff’s Deputy contacted 911 and reported an unmanned boat located on Three Mile Bay, on the north shore of Oneida Lake, near the Town of West Monroe. Around 1:52 PM, the same off-duty Sheriff’s Deputy found two bodies floating in the water and updated Oswego County 911.  Members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.

The Oswego County Sheriff’s Marine Patrol and a boat from the Town of Constantia Volunteer Fire Department responded and retrieved the males from the water. Both males were pronounced dead. The males were identified as Dale Hull, age 64, of Syracuse, NY, and Dean Hull, age 65, of Syracuse, NY, and their bodies were transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for further investigation.

Oswego County Sheriff’s Office personnel were assisted on-scene by the New York State Police, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Constantia Volunteer Fire Department, West Monroe Volunteer Fire Department, the Oswego County District Attorney’s Office, and Menter Ambulance.

 

This incident is still under investigation.
